　　1. Flat out

　　如果你说你flat out，意思就是，你超级忙！

　　例如：“This is my first week at uni. I’m flat out. I’ll have to meet you another time.”

　　2. I'm knackered

　　如果有人说I'm knackered，意思就是他非常累了。有时候也会听到有人说他“broken”意思也是非常累。

　　例如："I have had a massive day at uni, I'm completely knackered."

　　3. Far out

　　如果有人说自己far out，意思就是惊呆了。

　　例如："Far out! I left my phone at home and I only realised it when I got to uni."

　　4. Right

　　如果在一段对话中，对方一直在说“right”，这个意思是他们想让你知道自己在听，并且理解你说的意思。

　　如果你的讲师说“right”，可不一定代表着“你是对的”意思，可能只是说：好的，我知道了，谢谢你告诉我。

　　例如：

　　"Student: I forgot to do the assignment so I didn’t bring it."

　　"Lecturer: Right. Bring it in tomorrow."

　　5. An all-nighter

　　意思就是通宵的人，在快交作业，或者考试季的时候比较常见！

　　例如："I can’t come to the party tonight, I forgot to do my assignment today so I’m chucking an all-nighter. My lecturer wants it by tomorrow."

　　6. Reckon

　　“Reckon”的意思是认为/相信某件事是可能的。

　　例如："I reckon we can finish this project by the end of week."

　　7. Muck around

　　意思即使闲玩，或者浪费时间。

　　例如："Don't take them too seriously. They were just mucking around during the fair at uni."

　　8. Whinge

　　意思是抱怨某件事，可以说'have a whinge'或者'whinge on about'。

　　例如：

　　"I'll be alright. I'm just having a whinge. Don't mind me."

　　"They were whinging on about how far they had to travel to get to uni."

　　9. Shout

　　不仅仅是喊叫的意思，还可能请客的意思。

　　例如：

　　"Thanks for paying today. I will shout you lunch another time."

　　"A: Ok let’s go to the counter to pay for our meals."

　　"B: No no don’t worry. It’s my shout!"

　　10. Good on ya

　　如果说Good on ya，意思就是well done，好样的！

　　例如："You survived the first week of uni, good on ya!"
